We are a team commited to an automotive project that has been growing steadily for more than 25 years
Using all our different technologies we are able to produce components for many of the vehicle areas: we
produce components for Engine, Gearbox, Transmission, Chassis, Interior and Exterior Trim and also for Roof
Systems. We have the appropriate know how and experience to produce them in a solid, efficient and
competitive way so as we are able to fulfill our customer needs.
Our product portfolio is already quite wide and at CIE Automotive we are still striving to keep on enlarging
it in order to be able to cope with our customer needs.
CIE Automotive is continuously monitoring the evolution of new technologies on product and processes as well
as changes on the key automotive market drivers in order to make sure that our product portfolio is matching
well with the industry needs ahead.
CIE Automotive designs and manufactures components and sub-assemblies globally, in 109 production sites distributed in 16 countries on 4 continents: America, that includes plants in North America (12 in Mexico and 5 in USA) and South America (14 in Brazil); Europe (21 in Spain, 2 in France, 2 in Portugal, 3 in Italy, 5 in Czech Republic, 3 in Romania, 2 in Slovak Republic, 1 in Lithuania, 1 in Hungary); Asia (25 in India and 12 in China), and Africa (1 in Morocco). Multi-location is our own version of the typical process of internationalisation, based on decentralised management and led by local teams.
